Estrada, who is the face of the 2008 designer humor line of bilingual greeting cards for Nos Vemos Greetings was pleased with the audience response. He shared with John Townsend of Lavender Magazine that "most actors in New York learn about the playwright Anton Chekhov (1860-1904) while they are learning about Constantin Stanislavski and the acting technique (he formed) used today by most actors. So for me Chekhov is a very intimate part of my beginnings as an actor. So the works of Chekhov were woven into my love for acting. When I was asked to be a part of this event it really meant a lot to me. All self-penned shows are personal, but this seems to me really personal."
Genevieve Bennett, the curator for the festival states, "This show is not to be missed. It was really funny and very well performed."
Estrada has appeared on "30 Rock" and "Friday Night Lights" on NBC and is widely known for his appearances on "The Graham Norton Effect" on Comedy Central.
The Topeka Capitol-Journal calls him "one of the finest solo theatre artists of the 21st century."
Other shows by Estrada include "A Lullaby for Ryan: The History of HIV/AIDS in America, "Tortilla Heaven" and the highly acclaimed "ICONS: The Lesbian and Gay History of the World, Vol. 1."
Estrada appears in the upcoming film "The Innocent Killers" directed by Brett Mauser.
